Structure
The Tiffin EMBA Program is offered on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) and is accelerated so that it can be completed in 21 Months. It follows a cohort model that gives the students the opportunity to interact meaningfully with colleagues and peers, and develop real-life team building skills. TU's EMBA Program follows the case study model originally developed by Harvard Business School .
Each course takes 5 weeks to complete and students take 2 courese for each of the 5 week period. For the first week before the courses start students are given academic indications on what is to be read and what Projects are to be prepared. Three weekends of the five week period are spent in face-to-face teaching by American Professors. The following 2 weeks are dedicated for completion of the Course Final Projects. For these two weeks students keep in touch with the Professors using the Tiffin EMBA Portal, which offers secured chat rooms, documents sharing and discussion threads.
Tiffin offers its Executive MBA in Romania in two major cities, Bucharest and Timisoara , thus enabling managers from outside of Bucharest to attend the EMBA Program.
The Program is family-oriented and students have the summers off. Classes are not in session during December and over the Easter holiday.
The 9 sessions Program during the 21 Months includes services such as:
- Printed course materials
- Electronic course support
- Academic functions related to graduation.
