Dr. Vinnie Gajjala graduated with a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh in 1995. He subsequently worked as a Financial Engineer for an energy services company in Pittsburgh, Pa. His responsibilities included, inter-alia, systems analysis of hundreds of thousands of weatherproof bills and developing substantial new products. Before that, he had worked in the areas of Management Consulting and International Banking. At Tiffin University, Mr. Gajjala teaches courses in Finance and Economics. Before joining Tiffin University, he worked for University of Toledo’s School of Business where he taught courses in Information Systems and Business Economics.
Dr. Gajjala have also made several conference presentations – one of the recent ones being the paper on “Entrepreneurship and Globalization – A Case-Study of the Indian Software Industry” - which was presented at the Association of Internet Researchers (AoIR) International Conference in Toronto, Canada in October, 2003. He also had the opportunity of chairing a session on E-commerce and Economic Structures and Consequences of the Internet at the Association of Internet Researchers (AoIR) International Conference in Maastricht, The Netherlands, in October, 2002.
One of the papers presented in August, 2004, at University of Oxford in Oxford is “EU-US trade disputes and the World Trade Organization” Paper to be presented at a conference on EU - US trade relations, , UK (August, 2004).
